This section’s just a quick intro to the small team behind all the foliage magic.
Etherion Designs is a tiny studio based in Australia with one big goal: to make game development smoother, faster, and a whole lot more enjoyable for Unreal Engine devs.
We’re a team of three:
A programmer, a lead dev with over 20 years of game dev experience, and a marketer/copywriter who keeps the communication sharp. Together, we live and breathe Unreal Engine, and we care about helping developers build the worlds they dream about.
That mission is what led us to create the Etherion Foliage Plugin.
Unreal doesn’t offer proper foliage physics out of the box, and honestly, we think it should. Most devs end up hacking together a solution, only to hit performance walls or spend weeks building systems that never quite feel right.
So we built something better. After two years of work (and a lot of late-night feedback sessions), we created a foliage system that’s lightweight, optimized, and easy to use in any project, whether you’re building a small indie game or a full-scale world.
