After purchasing the Alien Physics World Lite or Pro edition (or a supported environment),
you will be able to download for the installer by navigating to your User Account library, and going to Downloads.
The User Account library icon looks like this in the top left corner of the screen
After opening your account, navigate to the Downloads tab
If you have purchased an environment that contains Foliage Physics, please be sure to download them using the buttons provided.
Our files are labeled with version numbers and letters to help you easily identify your downloads and any future updates we may release.
Versions are always future compatible, so 5.0 will support 5.5, etc..
Next, click the Alien Physics World Setup button to download it to your PC.
Once downloaded, please run the setup file.
If your PC provides you with any User Account Control warnings, please allow the program to run by clicking “Yes”.
Then, proceed by selecting your chosen version (Lite or Pro)
Accessing your License Key [Pro] #
If you want to install the Alien Physics World – Pro edition, you will require a licence key.
This can be found in your User Account Library, under License Keys
Each license key allows up to 5 activations.
This limit is in place to help prevent piracy, but we’re happy to provide more activations if needed.
Simply Contact Us, and we’ll add additional activations to your account.
Copy your License key from your User Account Library and paste it into the installer. Then click Activate.
Installing the Plugin #
Next, select the Plugin versions you would like to install.
This should be the same version as the projects you would like to work in.
Then click “Next“
Creating an Empty Project #
To create a project that contains only the Alien Physics world, click “Create New Project” and choose your engine version.
Ensure the selected engine version matches an installed plugin version.
Merging into Environments #
If you have downloaded one of our supported environments, you should click “Add Pre-Existing Project” and locate the project file.
These environments will not work without the Alien Physics World being merged into them.
Once you locate the .uproject file, click open.
As you proceed with the installer, it will download the required project files and add them to your projects.
During installation, you may be prompted to select optional features.
Troubleshooting #
